Endearing writing; battle system is interesting. Events and dailies have variety if you've unlocked co-op... which they can distract you from doing. That's a notable problem in this game: fun and variety are conditional on accomplishing tasks that you can easily overlook in search of fun and variety. (Make sure to unlock co-op and Sync Grids if you play!) Microtransactions are easy to avoid.

For the last five or so updates my game has crashed and I get an error message trying to reopen the game. Issue's solved by clearing cache, but it's annoying to have to redownload the same 4GB every single time. Puts me off of playing for weeks. Update: last crash I had was 12th October, and all updates I've tried to download up till today (30th December) haven't crashed. But it's just happened again.

If you're a very late newbie like I am, the amount of content available may be quite overwhelming. I also don't like how they stuff your pockets with the basic currency and level up items way more than you know what to do with. The characters are rendered and animated very well, at least. The stories vary from intriguing to plotless, but it's fun if there are characters you really like.
