It's definitely pay to play. If you need fire to make something (which you need for a lot of things), good luck finding the coal to make it. You won't get very far if you don't spend $$. You can watch ads and it helps a little but they not only want $$ but they cash in on the ads but don't give a whole lot so you're forced to spend $$. They cash in twice, once from you and once from ever ad you watch. Greedy is what developers of this game are.

One of my favorite games ATM. Just enough challenge to try your patience sometimes, but also easy enough not to feel you can't compete. You can play once a day and survive. You can invest a little time and really have your spot thriving. It's got some good graphics. The side stories are decent. I do wish the guilds could talk to their members. That is stressful during team events. That's after a certain level, no worries newbies lol. Sometimes I average about 17 hours a week.

it's a good game, but only hate that you have gain tools and materials to buy extra land and that takes forever, because you upload this to get that, if you can't find it on your island you have to travel to other islands and so forth.. so uninstalling..
