One day, Marianne discovers that the man she loves and whose child she is expecting is an impostor, a fabulist, and a pathological liar, who is no more a surgeon than his name is Alexandre, as he claims. He has four other relationships with women from all over the world, under different identities, each with an imaginary past and profession.
